Meet Whitten and Gracie, a brother and sister duo from Granbury, Texas who share a love for motocross racing. These young riders have been training, working hard, and competing in motocross races across Texas for years, with their sights set on qualifying for the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s National Championship. Along the way, they’ve made some awesome friends and built a strong community of supporters who believe in their talents.

Motocross is a form of off-road motorcycle racing that involves riding on a closed, dirt track with various obstacles and jumps. The races typically take place on a circuit that features tight turns, steep inclines, and challenging terrain. Motocross riders use specialized dirt bikes that are designed for high-performance racing and are equipped with powerful engines, advanced suspension systems, and rugged tires. The sport requires a combination of speed, skill, and endurance, as riders must navigate through the course while overcoming obstacles and maintaining control of their bike. Motocross is a popular and thrilling sport that attracts both amateur and professional riders from around the world.
Whitten and Gracie’s love for motocross began when they were just toddlers. Gracie watched her older brother first fall in love with the sport and she was quickly interested, too. From there, they started training and competing in local races, always pushing themselves to improve and reach new heights.
For those who love the adrenaline rush and thrill of high-speed racing, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of racing a dirt bike. Riding a dirt bike gives you the freedom to explore new terrain and push yourself to the limits. The sensation of the wind rushing past your face and the roar of the engine as you navigate through challenging obstacles creates an incredible sense of excitement and freedom. Racing a dirt bike requires a combination of skill, focus, and physical endurance, but the sense of accomplishment when you cross the finish line is unparalleled. For many riders, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of freedom and exhilaration that comes with racing a dirt bike.
The siblings have a rigorous training regimen that includes regular practice on the track, as well as strength and conditioning routines. Whitten and Gracie have competed in a variety of motocross races over the years, including the Texas Winter Series and the AMA Motocross National Championship. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, as they’ve both won several titles in their respective age groups.
Their ultimate goal, however, is to qualify for the Loretta Lynn’s National Championship, the most prestigious amateur motocross race in the country. The event is held annually in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and features the best amateur riders from across the nation. Qualifying for this event would be a dream come true for both Whitten and Gracie, as it would be a chance to showcase their skills on a national stage.
Whitten and Gracie are currently on the cusp of qualifying for the Loretta Lynn’s National Championship, with just a few more races to go before the cutoff. They’ve been working tirelessly to improve their performance and shave off seconds from their lap times. The siblings are confident that with hard work and perseverance, they’ll be able to secure their spots at the national championship.
Along the way, Whitten and Gracie have made some amazing friends in the motocross community. They’ve formed close bonds with other riders, coaches, and families who share their passion for the sport. For them, motocross isn’t just about winning races, but also about building a supportive community and making lasting connections.
For these young riders, motocross is more than just a sport – it’s a way of life that has brought them closer to their family, friends, and the wider motocross community.
